Founded in 1948, the Tadano Group based in Takamatsu, Japan operates globally, specializing in the development and production of hydraulic mobile cranes and hoists.
Key production is distributed across ten locations: five in Japan, two in Germany and one each in the USA, Thailand and India. Tadano UK Ltd has the responsibility for the sales of new and used lifting equipment and provision of services and parts sales within the UK & Irish markets.

Support our Team:

Your responsibilities as Technical Support Engineer Cranes

  • Carry out preventive maintenance servicing and inspections on mobile cranes and crawler cranes
  • Carry out on site repairs
  • Attend emergency breakdowns 
  • Using diagnostic equipment to diagnose faults and action as required 
  • Complete reports as required
  • Be customer focused and strive for "Customer Service Excellence"
  • You work from home and travel around Scotland
  • This role is predominantly for supporting our customers in Scotland but it may also include travelling to support our customers in the rest of the UK and the Republic of Ireland.

Your qualifications as Technical Support Engineer Cranes

  • Associate/Technical degree or equivalent with a minimum of 3-5 years related experience
  • Able to use fault diagnosis equipment
  • Self motivated and able to work on your own
  • Experience working on hydraulics preferably from related industries/ lifting equipment
  • Experience working auto electrics
  • Experience working on CANBUS systems
  • Current UK driver’s license
